This Microsoft Access application takes data in text format from the billing system and grinds this data into billing reports. This application also sends this data to a projections engine which uses this data and billing history to create a financial projection. The pieces are all put together in an extremely complex spreadsheet.

The Projections Engine is exactly as it's name alludes to. This application creates a run-rate based on the month you are in and product. For example if the product is a quarterly event and we are projecting for May 2005 we would use use billing from February 2005 as a run rate.
